Grief and Decision

Despite her fragile physical state, she refuses to remain passive. Ellie seeks the support of the Jackson council to organize an expedition against Abby and the W.L.F. (Washington Liberation Front). Facing the council’s refusal, she finds help from Dina and Seth, a resident of Jackson, who supplies her with weapons and provisions. Before departing, Ellie pays a final tribute at Joel’s grave.

Seraphites

On their way to Seattle, Ellie and Dina make a chilling discovery: the mutilated bodies of a group of Seraphites (a radical religious cult, also known as “the Scars” in the video game, who worship nature and reject modern technology). The violent staging suggests that the W.L.F. is responsible for this massacre. This brutal encounter foreshadows the dangers ahead and highlights the growing intensity of the conflict between the different factions.

Ellie remains more determined than ever, ready to find Abby and avenge Joel.
