This 10-episode series weaves together two romantic storylines:

• Jamie Fraser’s parents: Brian Fraser (played by Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) fall in love in early 18th-century Scotland.
• Claire Beauchamp’s parents: Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) meet in England during World War I.

The official trailer reveals that Julia and Henry experience time travel, mysteriously arriving in the 1700s and entering Jamie and Ellen’s world.
